Two last chances to see this before the year’s out

I wanted to make sure you knew about something worth your evening.

There are two final screenings this year of the documentary Who Knew: Dyslexia is a Way of Thinking. Tuesday the 13th of October and Tuesday the 20th of October, both at 7pm, online, and both free.

If you’ve ever watched someone struggle with learning and wished you understood what was really going on for them, this film is for you. It’s an hour and a half that changes how you see it. It doesn’t dwell on what’s hard. It shows the other side, the creativity, the problem solving, the way of thinking that so often goes unnoticed because nobody was looking for it.

I’ve sat with people who’ve watched it and seen something settle into place, suddenly making sense. Not just about a child they love, but sometimes about themselves. More than once someone has turned to me afterwards and said, that’s me, that’s exactly me.

These are the last screenings this year, so if you’ve been meaning to watch it, this is your moment.

And if you’re sitting there with that quiet feeling that there’s more going on for someone you love, and you can’t quite put your finger on what, I’ve made a free two minute quiz that helps you make sense of what you’re seeing. Finally, some clarity.
