Davis℠ Mastery for Attention

A drug-free programme for adults, teens or older children with Attention Deficit Disorder / Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder

Attention difficulties

People with ADD or ADHD tend to exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Distractibility and difficulty focusing

  • Excessive daydreaming

  • Impulsivity

  • Hyperactivity

  • Difficulty making or keeping friends

  • Inaccurate sense of the passage of time

  • Difficulty understanding instructions

  • Difficulty with personal organisation and/or finishing tasks

  • Other behavioural issues

These ADD/ADHD tendencies can raise challenges in the classroom, the workplace and at home with loved ones.

However, the Davis™ view of individuals with attention difficulties is highly imaginative and creative individuals who do not lack attention - they simply need to learn to harness their attention in constructive ways.

Davis™ Attention
Mastery Programme

The drug-free approach to attention difficulties provided by the Davis™ Attention Mastery Programme empowers individuals to take control of their focus, behaviour, and overall lives.

By harnessing the strengths of the ADD thinking style, especially imagination, this program enables clients to conquer areas of their lives that were once challenging.

Throughout the program, clients will gain personal insight and understanding into the root causes of their life challenges by exploring concepts like consequence, order, and responsibility.

Upon completing the programme, clients will have the ability to regulate their focus, enhance organisational skills, and foster healthier interpersonal relationships.

Step Two:

30-Hour Intensive Programme or
18-Hours with another Davis™ Programme

The Davis™ Attention Mastery Programme is run intensively over five full days. If you do another Davis™ programme first, Attention Mastery can be completed in up to three days. All materials needed for the programme are provided.

Prior to doing a programme with us we do an assessment so we know how we can best tailor the programme to meet your specific needs.

A family member or other support person must join on the afternoon of the final day to complete a short training to be able to help the client complete the follow-up work of the programme.

Step Three:

Post-Programme
Follow-Up

After the completion of the programme, the client will have tools they can use to manage their focus, their energy levels, their organisational abilities as well as their behaviour.

They will need support to use these tools and will likely test the efficacy of the tools by trying them sometimes and not at other times. This is normal!

The programme includes three follow-up sessions to discuss how the client is benefiting from the Davis™ Attention Mastery techniques and to address any questions or concerns.
