Founder and Specialist Facilitator at Dyslexia Unpuzzled, Hawke's Bay
For more than 30 years, Nikki Palamountain has helped bright, capable learners who struggled in ways traditional teaching couldn't solve.
Throughout her classroom career, she watched students work incredibly hard yet still find reading, writing, maths, or attention overwhelming. Back then, she didn’t have the language for dyslexia, ADHD, or learning differences, she just knew these learners needed a different approach.
That insight led her to become a trained Davis® Facilitator and create Dyslexia Unpuzzled, where she now helps children, teens, adults, and families understand how their brain learns best and what practical tools actually make a difference.

Nikki also works with adults navigating challenges that were never recognised at school: dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD traits, and processing differences that influence everyday life.
She helps adults make sense of communication struggles, overwhelm, procrastination, attention shifts, and workplace pressure, teaching simple tools that reduce stress and create lasting clarity.
