It's been just over a week since we watched Who Knew: Dyslexia is a Way of Thinking together.
I've been thinking about something.
For so many people, that film creates this beautiful moment of "oh... THIS is what's been happening." Finally, it makes sense. The pieces fall into place.
But then there's that pause. That quiet question underneath the relief:
"Okay, so... what do I actually DO with this?"
I've sat with parents after screenings who've said things like, "I see it now, but where do I even start?" or "I want to help, but I'm scared I'll get it wrong."
Teachers who whisper, "I have three kids in my class struggling right now. What's the one thing I could try tomorrow?"
And I get it. Because understanding something and knowing how to help with it? Those are two completely different things.
So I've put together a short follow-up session. Nothing fancy. Just some simple, practical ways to support someone who's struggling with reading, writing, or maths.
I will walk you through why some brains learn differently, what the signs actually look like, and practical hands on strategies you can use straight away at home or in the classroom.
You will also get an hour of practical support to help you move forward with confidence.
