For over 30 years, I've been a dedicated teacher in the NZ school system, witnessing countless children struggling with reading and writing. Our education system often left these bright sparks feeling frustrated and misunderstood. They were given the same old phonics exercises, and their needs were not truly addressed.

I've seen the 'Dyslexic Kid' get patted on the head and put in the 'too hard' or 'not enough resources' basket far too many times. Even the luckiest ones received repetitive help, but it felt like they were stuck in a never-ending loop.

But someday, I knew I wanted to make a difference. That day finally came with a change in my circumstances. I became a Davis™ Program Facilitator, driven by passion and dedication. Now, I have the privilege of witnessing the remarkable transformation that Davis™ tools and methods bring to our clients. It's deeply moving to watch as they take control of their learning and life, growing in confidence and competence.
